Tony Yang, President

As an interior design professional with more than 28 years of experience, Tony specializes in all facets of design development for large and small retail brands for clients around the world.  His extensive work in retail has been carried throughout the US and around the world including China, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Dubai, and India.  Tony enjoys working with teams from a variety of cultures to tailor a consumer experience that ultimately meets the client's objectives while utilizing industry best practices for individual geographic regions. Tony also leads and collaborates with design teams and pushes for in-depth development of ‘Big Ideas’ that push the design boundaries. Focus on the client and invent creative design solutions that simplifies the client retail needs. Creates trust with clients and suppliers to deliver value and results. With additional experience in hospitality, corporate, and aviation design, Tony's well-rounded background provides a base of many design fundamentals for him to draw from.

Aside from the day to day operations of YDesign, Tony is responsible for the development of interior concepts, schematic design, and design development, and project management for projects domestic and international.  

Tony is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese and holds a Bachelor of Science in Housing and Interior Architecture from the University of North Carolina.
